In 2009, I ran into a monk in a red robe during my trip to the Tibetan area of Southern Gansu province, and his expression immediately caught my attention. This painting was elected as the model painting on the official Chinese university textbook and was later bought by a private collector at $9000 in 2014. From 2002 on, I created more than 160 paintings, and over 140 were purchased by art galleries or collectors across the globe.
